USAAC Roundel Logo T-Shirt
One of the first Air Force logos. The United States Army Air Corps existed from 1926-1942 and the main combat air branch of the US Army. In 1941, the main combat air branch was renamed the United States Army Air Forces and the Air Corps assumed the role of aviation training. By 1942 the Air Corps was out of existence. This logo would have been seen on American planes early in the World War 2. The red dot roundel was removed in 1942 to prevent confusion with Japanese planes.
On the back is a vertical all white American flag.
