Bentonville, North Carolina 1st Positions Battle Map


The Battle of Bentonville was fought from 19-21 March 1865 and was one of the last battle of the Civil War. It was also the last battle between Generals Sherman and Johnston. Johnston would surrender to Sherman a little more than a month later.
