Cannae, Second Punic War

$50

Map for the Battle of Cannae in southeast Italy, where Hannibal absolutely hammered the Roman Army on 2 August 216 BC. Cannae is viewed by many as the worst defeat of the Roman Army and one of the more spectacular victories in warfare. Although Hannibal scored a decisive victory, he could not parlay the victory into winning the Second Punic War.
