Jutland Naval Battle Map
This British map shows the movements of the British Grand Fleet and the German High Seas Fleet at the Battle of Jutland, from 31 May to 1 June 1916. The result of the battle is still debated today, as the Germans sunk more British tonnage and inflicted higher casualties, but strategically the British can argue in a war of attrition the British could sustain their losses and the Germans could not.
